HERNDON, VA – October 12, 2020

Unissant announced today that it has been appraised at maturity level 3 of the CMMI Institute’s Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI)® for Services (SVC). The appraisal was performed by Ravi Khetan, CMMI Institute Certified SCAMPI Lead Appraiser from SPA Enterprise Services.

CMMI is a capability improvement framework that provides organizations with the essential elements of effective processes that ultimately improve their performance.

An SVC appraisal at maturity level 3 indicates the organization is performing at a “defined” level. At this level, processes are well characterized and understood, and are described in standards, procedures, tools and methods. The organization’s set of standard processes, which is the basis for maturity level 3, is established and improved over time.

“We’re very pleased to announce this achievement,” said Ken Bonner, Unissant president. “Receiving this appraisal from the CMMI Institute is an important milestone in Unissant’s development and is a demonstrable way of showing our current and future customers Unissant’s commitment to excellence. I’m very proud of the team at Unissant who are primarily responsible for this achievement.”
