HERNDON, VA – September 1, 2022

Unissant Inc., an industry leader in data and advanced analytics solutions for health and national security, has promoted Damodara Battula to Cloud Practice Lead. A Unissant employee for over 4 years, Mr. Battula will be responsible for spearheading Unissant’s cloud practice with a focus on enabling the customer’s mission through the cloud and data analytics, building this cloud practice through strategy, blueprints and platforms.

Mr. Battula has been supporting several federal and commercial clients in their analytics and cloud journey for over 15 years, starting his career as a member of research staff working on emerging technologies in the area of high-performance computing for defense organizations. Since then, he has worked on several big data technologies, data science implementations, cloud modernizations, and blockchain implementations.

Mr. Battula earned his MBA from the University of Iowa and his Masters’ Degree in Technology from the National Institute of Technology in Calicut, India. He loves reading about new and emerging technologies and traveling to new locations.
