Unissant Re-awarded Fourth Estate Manpower Tracking System
HERNDON, VA – November 26, 2018
Unissant was awarded the five-year follow-on for the Defense Human Resources Activity/Defense Manpower Data Center (DHRA/DMDC) – Fourth Estate Manpower Tracking System (FMTS) contract for another 5 years.
FMTS is a transactional manpower system with integrated functionality to support workforce management. The goal of FMTS is to provide the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) leaders visibility of organizational force structure, improve workforce accountability, and serve as the Fourth Estate authoritative data source for Global Force Management Data Initiative (GFM-DI) data.
“We are extremely proud to have been awarded the follow-on contract for this important DoD program,” said Manish Malhotra, Unissant CEO. ”FMTS is one of the largest manpower systems and plays a very critical role in the distribution and mobilization of DoD personnel. We look forward to continuing to work closely with OSD on this mission critical program and bring additional operational efficiencies and innovation to the program over the next five years.”
Over the last six years, Unissant supported the OSD’s strategic vision to create a system of systems and provide an authoritative system of record for data requests rather than redundant IT systems. In addition, Unissant staff bring pure domain expertise in Manpower management and provide a standardized way to collate organizational structure and billet data.
