Unissant to Provide Web and Application Support Services to the National Science Foundation

Reston, Virginia, September 20, 2012 –Unissant has been selected by the National Science Foundation (NSF) Information Dissemination Branch (IDB) to manage and operate NSF’s internal and public facing web applications.

NSF provides grants, contracts and cooperative agreements to over 2,000 colleges, universities and other research/education institutions. NSF accounts for about twenty (20) percent of federal support to academic institutions for basic research. It is therefore imperative that NSF’s collaboration environments for internal and external users is operational and provides the required information.

As part of this contract, Unissant will support NSF’s SharePoint 2010 environments as well as the Autonomy IDOL search application.
