Reston, VA – January 11, 2016 – Unissant, one of the region’s noted providers of advanced data analytics, has promoted Beth Hiatt to Chief Operating Officer. Previously Executive Vice President, Operations and Delivery, Hiatt will continue to oversee client delivery, with additional responsibility for the company’s overall business and financial performance objectives. These include revenue growth, profitability, program performance, customer satisfaction, technology development, and marketing. Hiatt reports to Manish Malhotra, Unissant’s Founder and Chief Executive Officer.

“Since Beth’s arrival at Unissant last spring, she has provided great leadership,” Malhotra said. “She developed innovative solutions for our emerging service offerings and implemented a more systematic approach to delivery. Beth also helped drive the growth and transformation of Unissant’s one-of-a-kind Innovation Center. Her contributions have strengthened our value proposition with our customers, partners, and employees, and I am delighted she will serve an even greater role as we continue to grow.”

Hiatt is a senior executive with over 25 years of leadership experience in Enterprise Information Management. She has served in management positions across business and technology domains in various industries including financial services, telecommunications, and hospitality. She is an expert at developing and implementing enterprise information solutions.

Throughout her career, Hiatt has led numerous large-scale enterprise data management programs that delivered capabilities such as data governance, data quality, master data management, metadata management, and enterprise data modeling.

She spent over 10 years at Fannie Mae and served as the firm’s first Chief Data Officer. Hiatt led the development and execution of Fannie Mae’s data strategy and added new capabilities to the firm, including data governance, data quality, integrating data management capabilities into existing processes, and deploying industry-leading tools to manage data quality and metadata.

Hiatt is active in industry data management forums including the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC) Big Data and Analytics Committee.

“This is a very exciting time for Unissant,” Hiatt said. “As we begin the New Year, we are expanding our unique service offerings and our client base in the public and private markets. We are all focused on empowering our clients to meet their business goals.”

Hiatt will continue to work closely with David P. Dougherty, Unissant’s Chief Growth Officer, who oversees corporate development and growth strategies across all of Unissant’s markets.
