United States Special Operations Command - Federal Data Center Consolidation Initiative (FDCCI)

Prime Contract

  • We directly supported the USSOCOM CIO develop a roadmap to achieve the organizational 2020 vision.
  • Unissant provided a Distributed Data Center design plan that applied future Information Technology (IT) trends, as well as measures and evaluates usage, capacity, and performance of Special Operations Command’s (SOCOM’s) infrastructure, network and IT assets.
  • We also supported Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) from two primary Continental United States (CONUS)-based data centers and three overseas Regional Service Centers.
  • Unissant consolidated all of the IT assets classified as data centers encompassing three networks (Unclassified, Secret, and Top-Secret networks), analyzed mission and operational requirements, assessed the current state of service consolidation efforts, and planned service distribution efforts.
