The Office of Human Resources (OHR), a part of the EPA, provides agency-wide direction and leadership in carrying out all aspects of the EPA’s human resources programs; it also provides support to the agency’s Chief Human Capital Officer and agency-wide leadership in implementing the EPA’s Strategic Human Capital Plan and ensuring that human capital priorities are met, and it provides leadership and direction to the Agency in implementing Presidential priorities and new human resources legislation.

According to Eric Hartung, CIO of Unissant, “The EPA has great expectations from Unissant to support and enhance the PeopleSoft HR environment.  We have an excellent team in place with a strong ‘can do’ commitment to the agency’s success.   We look forward to supporting the OHR in meeting its mission and evolving the system to accommodate the EPA’s future HR information systems vision.”

According to Manish Malhotra, President and CEO of Unissant, “The federal government has been adopting HR best practices for several years now.  We are very proud to be part of this mission-critical initiative at the EPA.  Bringing CMMI processes as well as PeopleSoft and HR best practices will certainly place the OHR in a leadership position among federal agencies seeking to enhance their HR systems.”
